The Way To Go Home

“Over the course of the next few minutes, a cigarettes length of time, I watched the butterfly who I think I will name Daniel, try to struggle to move through the blades of grass. He would get a few wing flaps in but get tired and have to land and walk around on his little legs. After a few more attempts he finally got air for a good second and again had to land and regroup. On his next try he made it!! He soared five then six then seven feet in the air. Then a huge wind gust took him up higher and out of sight…

It was awesome.
